My family and I had a wonderful day visiting Pompeii, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento! Thanks to the lovely Vanessa for organising a fantastic (and seamless) day with a very informative guide Alessandro and our great driver Angelo! We were in very good hands and managed to cover all the sights in a limited timeframe! Thanks again Vanessa, un caro salute!

Vanessa and Simon arranged two fantastic guided walks for our family whilst we were staying in the Comino Valley this summer. The guides were very informative and we saw parts of the valley we've never seen before. We would highly recommend using her services.

Vanessa is an exceptional Tour Leader which we evidenced first hand during our Italian Delights “Ti Amo” Rome, Naples and the Hidden Delights of Central/Southern Italy tour during September 2018.
Vanessa delivered a well organised and personal experience with passion, knowledge and empathy.
Our tour was extremely enjoyable, informative, and filled with gastronomic and panoramic pleasure. We met friends and family, experienced Italian life, observed some history and created very “indimenticable” memories. Grazie mille.
Vanessa succeeded to share and promote many hidden treasures of central Italy through her passion, knowledge and empathy in conjunction with very passionate and knowledgeable ambassadors. Grazie mille to each of them.

Alvito and the surrounding area is truly an unspoilt gem. We spent nearly a week here in July, and were delighted to be introduced to Vanessa. She introduced us to some excellent local businesses and attractions that made the visit extra-special. We have 2 girls aged 10 & 7 and Vanessa was able to tailor the suggestions to suit the family needs, whilst also picking out some fabulous places to eat that we would have never have come across without her advice. Thanks Vanessa!

My daughter and I took a once in a lifetime trip to Italy. Our base of operations was a lovely villa located in the small town of Alvito in the Val di Comino. Our tour was arranged by Ashley Davis and Celia Owens who worked closely with Vanessa. They created a magical 10 days for us. We were busy but not overwhelmed and every place we visited was wonderful. I can’t say enough about the the quality of the home cooked food provided each day. Their graciousness and attention to detail was amazing.
Vanessa, I so enjoyed meeting you. Thank you so much!

It's only been a few short days since our group of 8 friends returned from Alvito, I will always hold the beauty and authentic hospitality of this area in my heart. What made out experience so extraordinary, was the genuine personable connections we made while there. We were warmly greeted by Celia Owens, our host, who not only opened her lovely villa to us, she opened to us the rhythm and continuity of life, through wonderful farm to table, organic food, prepared fresh each morning and catered in from the local Agritourismo; through the rich exposure to history of the area and our journey to yet another Agritourismo for amazing wine tasting and the privilege to experience the genuine passion of the wine-maker and grower. I was absolutely blown away by our on site cooking class and now look forward to trying the recipes here at home. Our connections to these people through both Celia and Vanessa, were so seamlessly organized, that I felt as if I was part of the family. You have my highest recommendation and I will be telling all of my friends about our endearing experiences there. Thank you for making this experience possible!!!

Our family visited 4 different agriturismos in 3 days. It was the most incredible 3 days of my life! I was a little anxious about how my kids would behave on these tours as I wasn't sure they'd be interested or entertained. I will admit I was enthralled by all of my visits. We learned how to make ricotta at the Agricola San Maurizio, learned how to make pizza at Agriturismo Poggio alle Serre, made soap at the Agri Fazio, fed the animals at Le Case di Marcieglie. I booked these tours so my children (7 and 12) could learn about the connection between mother Earth and us. Every single person we met at these agriturismi were spectacular people. They all treated us like we were family. They were all experiences that you wouldn't otherwise have if just doing the typical visit to Italy. Vanessa is great, she accompanied us on some of our tours. All in all, I would do it all again, many many times. Italy Indeed is indeed the tour company to book with for interesting tours throughout Italy.

Hi Vanessa, we had a wonderful time in Alvito and surrounding area, the cooking class was very nice and the wine tasting was great I learned quite a bit including some German history there but I think the best was getting the records of my wife's great grandparents from the church and town hall, not to mention meeting the Mayor you really did your homework You made my wife and her family very happy, the B&B was very nice also
Thanks, :-)

This was an excellent tour and very well organized. It must have been difficult for her to cram so much into the itinerary, but she managed it and made it seem relaxing. She made sure to space the museums and churches with some good outdoor activities for the 19 year old. We did 15 tours in 3 days! And that included a 2.5 hour trail walk from one castle to another, plus wine tasting and truffle hunting. This was the most complete package I've ever heard about. Beautifully done Vanessa.

Vanessa and her erstwhile assistant, Pasquale brought the Italian mystique to life. From explaining how a newly married Italian couple go about building their house (layer upon layer) with storefront on first floor, living quarters on wrangling an invitation for us to have our final Italian meal in the home of native Palermans on their rooftop veranda. The best caponata was served here. If you want a visit to Italy you'll never forget, engage Vanessa and Simon to make you dreams into reality.

Vanessa provided a wonderful trip for my first trip to Sicily! I have such wonderful memories and great photos! The fact that I cannot speak Italian was not an issue as Vanessa was very quick to translate. Our culinary class, trips to the catacombs, just covering so much and yet not rushed. I had an amazing time. Vanessa is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely plan another trip with her!

Vanessa put together a great trip for my family - 10 of us including my 82 year old mother. We visited Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Picinisco. Vanessa is a great planner, tour guide, translator, adviser and became one of the "family" as she traveled with us.

Che Garrett ha detto! I also remember Simon's delight with the "leaves" that were served as a side dish at the Agriturismo Cerere. We have such wonderful memories that will not be forgotten. Grazie mille, Vanessa e Simon!

Re the 2015 Tour:
This cultural and culinary expedition redefined the concept of a tour. This "tour de force" of central Italy included sites and people that amazed and delighted all the senses: La Ferriera, a winery built on the remnants of an ancient Roman forge: an oasis of stone walls and trees to shield the barrels of precious Cabernets (as well as the tourists) from the mid-summer's heat; Agriturismo Cerere, where one can find "antica ospitalità" to accompany the mouth-watering fare prepared by none other than Adelina Eramo, whose fame is exceeded only by her skills in the culinary arts: you must try the maltagliati with chickpeas and porcini mushrooms; and sadly (I did say all the senses) the abbey of Montecasino, site of one of the most horrific battles of World War II, where I met San Benedito di Nursia gazing down from the blood soaked mountain that houses his rebuilt treasure of a monastery. There was much, much more but lest I forget, I must mention the "goats". The people in the region call them sheep from which they make the most elegant cheese. We were given some small rounds as a parting gift at a cheese factory. My wife, Anna Marie and I saved ours for the flight back home, and opened them mid-flight. I remember the female flight attendant stopping dead in her tracks and she caught the aroma, and the look on her face of both envy and delight is what you should have on yours in anticipation of what Vanessa and Simon can bring to you. Thanks again Vanessa.
